It can be easily opened with one hand, but you must depress both sides of the hook simultaneosly which requires placing the hook between forefinger and middle finger. Fixes to attachments up to 19mm (0.75 inches) in diameter. Unique double action safety locking system Impossible to open accidentally. Single handed operation. The Makefast Safety Hook prevents accidental opening by using a DOUBLE ACTION LOCK. If one lever is opened the hook DOES NOT OPEN. Both locks must be operated to open.

Web Site for cruisers with discussion boards. Last I looked they had the most users online way back in 04 at over 1,000 users. Thats pretty impressive recourse. Discussions include, cruiser destinations, equipment rants and raves, and also practical information. Good recourse for the cruiser to ask questions and get answers. I see logs from as far away as New Zealand who spell Harbor Harbour.
