The idea for Glowfast Marine was developed in 2002 whilst Company Founder Jason was sailing on USA 71 Oracle BMW during the Americas Cup. Over the duration of the campaign countless tests were carried out in the Oracle BMW boatsheds. After numerous attempts Glowfast Marine put our first purpose built products into production in 2004.

Glowfast Marine have been working closely with some of the worlds leading sail makers to place product on high profile yachts including Volvo Ocean Race Teams, and winner of the recent Sydney-Newcastle Regatta - Loki. Glowfast have also has great success in other campaigns including the Melbourne–Osaka and Sydney-Hobart, with line honours and handicap victories in both.
