Boat Show Newsletter© This is a roundup of what was on show at the Annapolis Boat Show. These were the products that stood out, being
both new and offering new solutions. Anchor Concepts Hydrobubble is a buoyant bubble that attaches to the anchor. This is to keep the anchor upright while setting and to upright a capsized anchor. Yachting Monthly magazine in the UK (December 2006 issue) in collaboration with Sail magazine in the US did an exhaustive test in California on 14 anchors. The test found the Hydrobubble was about one of the best in setting on a sandy bottom. It looked like the anchors results surprised the testers. So this test result plus its quick setting characteristics would put it on the short list of anchors for serious consideration. From the test conclusion "The hydrobubble set quickly and worked well on every drop". retail starts at $105 for the smallest anchor to $250 for the 22lb basic anchor.

So far will only go to 6,000 BTU air conditioning.
